"Dino Valley Brontosaurus" Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle ' Pieces of Texas'
This life size statue of a Brontosaurus is one of two dinosaurs greeting 21st century visitors to Dinosaur Valley State Park. Fifty years ago, they greeted visitors to the 1964 World's Fair in New York. The "Dino Land" exhibit was built by Sinclair oil company and included nine life-size dinosaur statues, including their Bronto mascot. The dinosaurs referred to the fossil fuels that are used to produce crude oil. Several years later, after touring the US, two of the dinosaurs were timely donated to the newly formed State Park. Today, Rex and Bronto are the unofficial park hosts and are vital to the local economy.
All puzzles have a "signature" Texas-shaped puzzle piece and come in a keepsake durable glass display jar with metal screw on lid.
