"Outlaw Station" Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle ' Pieces of Texas'
On Old Highway 67, near Glen Rose, TX, a crumbling yet majestic structure still bears testimony to a colorful era of mostly-forgotten Texas history. Made of local petrified wood and brick, the gas station was built in the 1920's. During the Prohibition Era it not only sold gas but also illegal moonshine. Glen Rose was at one time called the "Moonshine Capital of Texas". Moonshining, or the unlicensed distillation of spirits, traces its Texas roots much further back than Prohibition to the early pioneers. It is rumored that Bonnie and Clyde frequented this secret spot for libations.
All puzzles have a "signature" Texas-shaped puzzle piece and come in a keepsake durable glass display jar with metal screw on lid.
